Feasibility Studies: WCEC prepares sketch site plans and feasibility studies to assist in the preparation of preliminary budgets and financing, as well as evaluating overall development potential. Our feasibility studies consider review of local zoning and land development ordinances, provincial and federal regulations, site access and roadway patterns, geotechnical issues, floodplain issues, topographic constraints, existing and proposed infrastructure review, stormwater management issues, preservation of natural site features such as existing vegetation and water courses, and review of other environmental considerations. WCEC staff has completed
site development feasibility studies for residential, commercial, institutional, and mixed-use development sites of less than five acres to over two hundred acres. |

Site Development Services/Construction Document Preparation: WCEC has extensive experience managing the design, approval, and construction processes of site development
projects. Our staff has designed sanitary sewer and water distribution systems and coordinated the service extensions of
natural gas, electric, telephone, and cable television utilities. WCEC can also prepare sewer/water service feasibility studies that identify capacity constraints and costs of service alternatives. WCEC integrates all
of the design elements into buildable construction drawings and specifications. |

Stormwater Management: WCEC provides comprehensive stormwater management consulting services, including flood routing studies, stream relocations and enclosures, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and design, and above-ground and below-ground stormwater detention. Our use of extensive computer software enables WCEC to analyze alternative stormwater detention measures and methodologies to satisfy site-specific requirements. We have demonstrated a proven ability to design and permit stormwater detention facilities for difficult sites with unique stormwater-related problems.

|
| Site Grading Analyses: WCEC has extensive experience developing site grading plans, producing
“balanced” earthwork conditions where
there is no need to import or remove
material from the site. Our site grading consulting services incorporate CADD
technology and integrate the important
aspects of site development, such as slope
stability, drainage, stormwater management,
and geotechnical requirements. |
Erosion and Sedimentation Control: WCEC staff members have extensive
hydrologic and hydraulic design experience to
design various erosion and sedimentation
control measures. WCEC’s primary objective
in developing E&S control plans is to integrate
E&S with post-development stormwater
management to educe overall site development
construction costs. |
